Delete your account

How to request deletion

1. In the app (recommended): open Settings → Delete account, type DELETE, and confirm. Your account is removed immediately after verification.
2. By email: write to privacy@theculinarycollective.com from the email address on your account (or include that address in the message).
3. Use the subject line Account deletion request — The Culinary Collective.
4. Include your account email or username and your full name so we can verify email requests.

What we delete

After we verify your request, we permanently delete or anonymize personal data tied to your account, including where applicable:

• Account profile (name, username, email, phone, address)
• Authentication credentials and session tokens
• Dietary preferences, questionnaire answers, and contact preferences
• In-app messages associated with your account
• Push notification tokens and device identifiers we store
• Saved payment method references in our systems (card details are held by Stripe)

What we may retain

We may retain limited information when required by law or for legitimate business needs, for example:

• Payment, invoice, and tax records for the period required by applicable law
• Records needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our agreements
• Aggregated or anonymized data that can no longer identify you

Timeline

In-app deletion takes effect immediately after you confirm. For email requests, we aim to complete verified deletion within 30 days, or sooner when required by applicable law. You will receive a confirmation email when an email request is processed.

In the app

Signed-in users can delete immediately under Settings → Delete account. Use email on this page if you no longer have the app installed.
